Ultimate Boats Waymaker - 13m
Waymaker — also known as the 13m Hebrides — was conceived as a deliberate departure from the core portfolio of Ultimate Boats. While the shipyard had built its reputation on high-performance tactical and professional craft for demanding maritime operations, this vessel explored a different brief: a refined, long-range leisure platform that retained the DNA of a serious offshore machine. The result was a 13-metre cabin RIB that blended expedition capability with comfort, offering a fully enclosed wheelhouse, overnight accommodation, and the systems required for extended cruising in all conditions.
At the heart of Waymaker was an advanced planing hull design that set it apart from conventional leisure boats, delivering exceptional directional stability and notably tight turning performance even in challenging seas. This capability was paired with twin diesel inboard engines, selected for their reliability, efficiency, and extended cruising range — a combination well suited to remote exploration. Equipped with a heated cabin for cold-weather operation, a proper WC and shower, and a dedicated chart table for navigation and passage planning, it is the perfect boat for a weekend getaway in the outer Hebrides.
Waymaker bridged two worlds: bringing the robust engineering and seakeeping of a tactical platform into a leisure context, while maintaining the comfort and practicality expected of a serious cruising boat.
